We (DREAMRECALLER LTD) store about you from usage of our Dreamrecaller App. We collect certain information about you when you use the Dreamrecaller App. This page explains what kind of personal information we collect, how it’s protected and how you can find out more.

Depending on where you are located geographically, the applicable privacy law may mean you have certain rights regarding your personal information. The easiest way to exercise your rights is by contacting us. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

DATA COLLECTION

We need to collect certain information from you in order to fulfill our service to you which includes basic user details and and content you want analyzed. In addition, we also collect data on your use of our services such as your access data.

When you use our services technical data is generated about your usage, and the devices you use to access our services this includes:

  • Usage information about your activity on our services, such as your login activity, and dream analysis undertaken
  • Device information about the device(s) you use to access our services, including information such as IP address, device ID/type, app usage, app crashes, and identifiers asscoiated with cookies or any other technologies that may uniquely identify a device
  • Cookies and similar information may be used or allowed to others to recognize you and/or your device(s).

Types of Data Collected

You choose to allow us to collect the following type of data on you when using our services, this includes:

  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.
  • Non-Personal Identifiable Information: Browser type, device type, etc.

Methods of Data Collection

There are three high level data collection methods which we collect data on you from, data you provide us, data we recieve from others, and data generated or automatically collected when you use our services.

  • Direct Interactions: Data provided by filling forms, subscribing to services, or corresponding with the business.
  • Third-Party Sources: Data from third parties like analytics providers, advertising networks, other members, etc.
  • Automated Technologies: Data collected via cookies, log files, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.

Direct interactions from you provides us with data which includes:

  • When you register an account using our services you provide us with at least your email address.
  • When you undertake an interp service you provide us with a copy of your dream that you would like to have analyzed, which is necessary for the service to work.
  • We collect keywords search data from the analyse section of the App. For example the entered search keyword you choose. You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information either by not using the service.
  • When you make a purchase for a service you provide us with information related to the purchase you make such as transaction ID or transaction status or other financial information, and shipping address if applicable.
  • When you choose to participate in our forum, courses, or events we collect information you use to register or during the particiaption.
  • When you contact our customer service we collect information you provide us during the interaction.
  • We process your chats with other members and content you publish to operate and secure the services, and to keep the community that use our services safe.

Third-party sources for data we recieve from others which include:

  • Other users may provide data on you as they use the services, for example if they interact with you on forums.
  • Other partners may provide informatuin where our ads are published on a third-party service.

Automated technologies generate data when you use our service, such as technical data about your usage, and devices you use to access our services which can include:

  • Usage data from you using the service to provide us with data on your activity and our services (e.g., referring webpages, when you logged into a service, users you have interacted with, or purchases you have made).
  • Device data is collected from you about the device you use to access our services including the software and hardware data such as IP address, device ID, operating system, app crashes, and identifiers associated with cookies or other technologues that could uniquely identify a device or browser.
  • Log files which include data on IP address, browser type and settings, internet service provider, referring/exit pages/how you interact with our services, and date/time of the request.
  • Cookies or similar technologies are used by our services and we may allow others to use cookies or similar technologies such as SDKs, to recognize you and/or your devices(s). Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the services that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory. Our services uses cookies, e.g., for analytics, personalizing user experience, etc. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies on our website service and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this our service. Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) feature that tells a website an user does not want to their online activity tracked, due to DNT signals not yet being uniformwe do not currently respond to DNT signals.
  • Other information may be collected with your permission such as photos and/or video if you participate in our services.

Data from Minors

  • Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information through the Service, please email us at privacy@dreamrecaller.com. We will investigate any notification and if appropriate, delete the Personal Information from our systems. If you are 13 or older, but under 18, you must have consent from your parent or guardian to use our Services..

DATA RENTENTION

We keep your data as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes as per the data use mentioned in the sections above and as permitted by applicable law.

You can close your account to stop using our services, once your account is closed we delete your personal data excluding anything related to transaction data for 10 years to comply with tax and accounting legal requirements, transaction data for the period that you may challenge a transaction.

Procedures for deleting or anonymizing personal data once it’s no longer needed

Once data has been identified as being within the set data range we automatically delete and will manually check deletions daily.

How we store your personal information

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your information by secure storage. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

  • We keep your analyse of your dream as mentioned above for as long as we need the information, if you delete your account the dream will not be linked to you in as all your personal data will be removed
  • We keep email addresses for as long as you use the account, once you delete your account we will then dispose your information by by removing the associated email address instantly automatically.

We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will:

  • make sure no one has access to it who shouldn’t
  • only keep the information for as long as it’s needed
  • not make it available for commercial use

How do we keep your information safe? We have organizational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Information may be collected by OpenAI and held but it cannot be used to identify who you are unless you have specially put personal information without our knowledge in the dream you wish to be analyzed:

We do not share your data with the sponsors. The sponsored products when clicked will direct the user outside the App to an Amazon website, to read more on data that Amazon stores and holds visit here to read what personal data Amazon collects.

Your Rights

You have rights depending on your location with respect to your data.

You may have the following rights:

  • Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

If you do not have an account with us, or if we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity, we may ask you to provide additional Personal Information. If we cannot verify your identity, we will not be able to honor your request

How users can access, correct, or delete their personal information, and how they can opt-out of certain data collection practices.

We understand how important it is to protect personal and other sensitive information. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you. There is no charge.

You can ask for your GDPR right to be forgotten to delete all the information we hold about you, to do this contact gdpr@dreamrecaller.com.

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law. We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Will your information be shared with anyone else?

We may disclose your personal information with our service providers pursuant to a written contract between us and each service provider. Each service provider is a for-profit entity that processes the information on our behalf, following the same strict privacy protection obligations mandated by the CCPA. We may use your personal information for our own business purposes, such as for undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered to be “selling” of your personal information.

Dreamrecaller Ltd has not disclosed, sold, or shared any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. Dreamrecaller Ltd will not sell or share personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.

Your rights with respect to your personal data

Right to request deletion of the data — Request to delete. You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) the exercise by another consumer of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation, or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

Right to be informed — Request to know. Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to know:

  • whether we collect and use your personal information;
  • the categories of personal information that we collect;
  • the purposes for which the collected personal information is used;
  • whether we sell or share personal information to third parties;

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

We do not process consumer’s sensitive personal information.

Verification process

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g., phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.

We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.

Other privacy rights

  • You may object to the processing of your personal information.
  • You may request correction of your personal data if it is incorrect or no longer relevant, or ask to restrict the processing of the information.
  • You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with the CCPA.
  • You may request to opt out from future selling or sharing of your personal information to third parties. Upon receiving an opt-out request, we will act upon the request as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of the request submission.

Virginia CDPA Privacy Notice

Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA): “Consumer” means a natural person who is a resident of the Commonwealth acting only in an individual or household context. Dreamrecaller LTD has not sold any personal data to third parties for business or commercial purposes and will not sell personal data in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.

Verification process

We may request that you provide additional information reasonably necessary to verify you and your consumer’s request. If you submit the request through an authorized agent, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.

Upon receiving your request, we will respond without undue delay, but in all cases, within forty-five (45) days of receipt. The response period may be extended once by forty-five (45) additional days when reasonably necessary. We will inform you of any such extension within the initial 45-day response period, together with the reason for the extension.

Right to appeal

If we decline to take action regarding your request, we will inform you of our decision and reasoning behind it. If you wish to appeal our decision, please email us at privacy@dreamrecaller.com. Within sixty (60) days of receipt of an appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decisions. If your appeal if denied, you may contact the Attorney General to submit a complaint.

We will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
